Alex Ovechkin one of four Capitals placed on NHL's covid-19 protocol-related absences list

Alex Ovechkin, Evgeny Kuznetsov, Dmitry Orlov and Ilya Samsonov were placed on the list and the NHL also fined the Capitals $100,000.
